Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 28, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Midas ("Midas," "we," "us," or "our") processes personal information from website visitors and users of our cryptocurrency trading platform and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). We only collect the personal information you choose to share with us, together with publicly available transaction data from blockchains you interact with through the Platform.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of data by Midas in connection with the Platform. It applies to visits to our website, applications, and use of our services. We define "personal information" as any information or data that relates to an identified or identifiable living person.

When you transfer to or interact with third-party sites or services (including wallet providers, decentralized exchanges, liquidity protocols, and analytics services), the privacy practices of those third parties apply instead of this Policy.

When you access the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • Device type and operating system
  • Browser type and version
  • Preferred language
  • Broad geographic location (derived from IP address)
  • Visit date, time, and duration
  • Sections of the Platform visited and links clicked
  • Frequency of visits and session details

User-Provided Information

We may collect the following when you voluntarily provide it:

  • Email address and other contact information

  • Usernames, avatars, and profile information you choose to create
  • Search queries conducted within the Platform
  • Social media handles connected to your Midas profile, if any

Blockchain Data

Due to the nature of blockchain technology, certain data is publicly available on-chain, including wallet addresses, transaction details, and token balances. This public blockchain data is not controlled by Midas and is used only for providing Platform functionality, improving our services, and complying with Applicable Law.

Analytics and Tracking

We assign unique identifiers and use tracking technologies to analyze usage patterns, measure visitor counts, identify failed page loads, and understand optimal service usage times. We retain aggregated, depersonalized data internally and do not share analytics with external parties for their own marketing purposes.

Information From Other Sources

We may access information through third-party platforms you use to connect to the Platform (such as wallet providers), in accordance with those platforms' authorization procedures.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide you with our services, improve our services, and ensure we comply with Applicable Law and our Terms of Service. Specifically, we use information to:

Service Delivery

Provide, maintain, and operate the Platform, including communication regarding usage, responding to inquiries, facilitating transactions, providing customer support, and collecting legally required information.

Personalization

Tailor content, customize your experience based on location, provide personalized help, and enhance your overall experience on the Platform.

Improvement and Development

Ensure proper operation, understand access and usage patterns, make improvements, develop new features, and conduct research and analytics.

Communications

Send service-related communications, marketing or promotional materials, news, special offers, and product notifications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Legal Compliance

Enforce our Terms of Service, comply with Applicable Law and legal processes, exercise or defend legal claims, detect and prevent fraud, comply with law-enforcement and regulatory requests, address security or technical issues, and protect our property and legal rights.

4. Data Sharing Practices

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Consent: As directed by you, including when you initiate third-party transactions through the Platform.
  • Affiliates: Among our corporate affiliates under common control.
  • Vendors and Service Providers: Third-party vendors, contractors, or agents performing functions on our behalf, such as analytics, hosting, security, and customer support.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with acquisitions, mergers, substantial asset transfers, bankruptcy, or transaction negotiations.
  • Legal Process: When required by Applicable Law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government requests (including for national security or law enforcement).
  • To Protect Us and Others: When necessary to investigate or prevent illegal activity, suspected fraud, safety threats, or violations of our Terms of Service.

Third-Party Limitations

The Platform facilitates access to decentralized exchanges, liquidity protocols, and smart contracts. We cannot guarantee the privacy protection that these third parties may or may not have, and we disclaim liability for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

We may share aggregate or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and track Platform performance. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain to track aggregate usage patterns.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers provide instructions for blocking or disabling cookies. Disabling cookies may prevent certain Platform features from functioning properly.

Third-Party Analytics

We use third-party analytics services to evaluate Platform usage, performance, and user experience. These services may use their own cookies and tracking technologies, governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Regional Rights and Protections

EU and UK Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your personal information include performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent (which you may withdraw at any time).

You may:

  • Request access to your personal data;
  • Request rectification or erasure;
  • Object to or restrict processing;
  • Request data portability; and
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

For unresolved concerns, you may lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.

California residents may:

  • Request access to information we have collected about them;
  • Request deletion of personal information;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — noting that we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under applicable California privacy law; and
  • Exercise the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

California residents may designate authorized agents to submit requests on their behalf. If a request is denied, you may appeal by contacting us. Concerns about appeal results may be directed to the California Attorney General.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise your rights, contact us at midasdottrade@gmail.com. We may request identity verification before processing your request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Data Retention

We retain data while you maintain active access to the Platform. We may continue retention after deactivation when necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements, or protect our legitimate interests. We delete data when it is no longer required for these purposes.

8. Data Protection and Security

We employ physical, administrative, and technological safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure connection protocols. We acknowledge, however, that no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our systems, particularly during transmission across the internet.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will investigate, remediate, and notify affected individuals in accordance with Applicable Law and regulations.

9. Minors and Age Restrictions

The Platform is not intended for and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age, in line with the eligibility requirements of our Terms of Service. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us at midasdottrade@gmail.com.

10. International Users

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States and in other jurisdictions where laws regarding the processing of data may be less stringent than those in your country.

By providing information to us, you consent to such international transfer. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms required by applicable data protection law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. We will post the updated policy with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
